Testing Dan
Mountford’s technique
For the Dan Mountford style I decided I would try a tester first before taking any photos and layering them, so I chose two images from the internet, one of a skinny portrait facing side ways and another of a beautiful landscape, I then added them onto Photoshop and began to edit. I first of all selected the face and pressed inverse and deleting the background, I then layered the landscape on top of the portrait, after this I lowered the opacity of the landscape so I was able to see the portrait this made it easier to then rub out the landscape which wasn't layered on top of the portrait, then for the last step I chose the right opacity and then selected the background and changed it to a cream colour. This layering technique was inspired by Dan Mountford to enhance the beauty of the landscape which represents the pressure to be perfect as that's what people see skinny people to look like 'beautiful'.
