Replication
I decided to choose
Mike Henry for my final piece shoot as he uses natural unplanned photography
with facial expressions and body language, this replicated with the bright, fun
and bold backgrounds used. Studio lighting is used in his work to have a
natural feel but also to create contrast on his fashion portfolio, I chose one
of these images to also show the lighting technique with one light in a soft
box. Mike Henry inspired me to not ask my individual to pose in a certain way
but to feel natural to replicate cultures and the bright colourful background.
Cultures and seen to be in some ways protected and different this is what I
wanted to portray in my final images but to show it may not be and they are
happy with the way they are an appearances.
