Mixed media - response

Photogram
Photograms are a easy way to make a photo seem that bit more dramatic and textured, by simply printing your image onto acetate after you had inverted it on Photoshop, then using Printing paper, this is coated with a light sensitive emulsion and is used to expose the items on to make the photogram, you decide the amount of time for the exposure you want under the light and then place in the developer for a few minutes then into water to stop the developing process then lastly you place in fixer to fully stop the process and fix the image, then you rinse under water to take any solution off the paper. This is a very effective process which I love to use. I just used the image for the first picture and it turned out exactly how I wanted, grainy and mysterious, then I decided to develop this and place a piece of my jewellery over the top for another texture, layer and different contrast of the black and whites. The jewellery fitted in really well with my subject also.
